The children have been e given back to a well- wisher later on. The church has been locked and put under police guard.

The Pastor has been charged under section 295 A of IPC (Crime against weaker sections) and under Section 4 of Anti-Conversion Bill of Madhya Pradesh. Efforts are under way to bail out the couple.

All India Christian Council has condemned the arrest of the Pastor and his wife and sought their immediate release.
