Youths attempt to rape Dalit woman in Uttar Pradesh |

 Muzaffarnagar: Two youths allegedly tried to rape a 25-year-old Dalit woman and threatened to kill her if she informed anyone about the incident at Salarpur village, the police said in Muzaffarnagar of Uttar Pradesh on 7 January 2009.
The incident occurred on 6 January 2009 when the victim had gone to the fields where she was abducted by the youths, who tried to rape her, the police said.
A case had been registered against the youths and the girl sent for medical examination.
