Madhya Pradesh has taken a giant leap in the implementation of Forest Rights Act and there is need to maintain the momentum. A two-day brainstorming session got underway in the light of above facts. The initial session took up cases to establishment. For this purpose records pertaining to sanctioned and filled up posts of Class-1, II and III employees were checked. Objections were raised to the delay in preparation of confidential reports of employees.
 
A deadline was set on 2 June 2009 for direct recruitment of employees of various levels and instructions were issued to start the process immediately and complete the task by 30 June 2009. Field staff have been given time from 30 June to 15 July 2009 to complete their works. Minister Shri Jagannath Singh has instructed district officers to implement muster roll since many posts at this level are also to be filled.
 
SC, ST Welfare Minister Jagannath Singh made it clear to department's officers to ensure that the number of school dropouts comes down to zero. He stressed the need for a special cell so that the schemes for welfare these classes could be galvanised. Minister of State Khatik said the efforts to improve economic and social status of reserved classes should be further intensified.
 
Department's Principal Secretary OP Rawat said this two-day session had been organised with a view to meeting with the challenge of keeping pace with changing times. He asked officers to enumerate the problems faced by them without any hesitation so that no aspect remained uncovered in the new strategy.
