ImageHyderabad: A Pastor has been waylaid and brutally attacked while he was returning home after conducting worship services at his church in Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh.

Pastor Parishudam V was returning on his motorcycle after conducting worship services at his church in Yellareddyguda of Nalgonda district in the afternoon on 20 September 2009 when he was attacked. Two people wearing masks overtook him, forcing him to stop. Then they attacked him with sticks and other lethal weapons. When they saw the Pastor bleeding, they fled leaving him alone. Noticing the Pastor bleeding, local people took him to a nearby hospital. Later he was rushed to Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad for further treatment.

All India Christian Council (aicc) has condemned the attack on the Pastor and contacted the in-charge at Narketpalli police station.  The Council has field an FIR against the culprits who allegedly belong to some Hindutva outfits in the area.
