Orphanage owner arrested in Mangalore |

Mangalore: A Christian woman, who runs an orphanage in Mangalore of Karnataka, has been arrested for her alleged conversion activities.
Saroja Margaret, wife of Joseph Jamkandi, a well-known Pastor and Radio speaker, has been running an orphanage for poor children in Mangalore. Two of the girls, who received help and service from the orphanage, had been instigated by anti-Christian elements to file a complaint alleging forcible conversions. Following the complaint, the police took into custody Saroja Margaret and sent her to jail.
All India Christian Council (aicc) has condemned the arrest of the orphanage owner and demanded that she be released immediately. |
