ImageLucknow: A team of students from a Bible college in Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh has been attacked and detained by the police allegedly for their conversion activities.

The police first beat up four students belonging to Compassion for India Ministry at Telibag near SGPGI in Lucknow late in the evening on 24 July 2010. The students have been engaged in serving the poor and underprivileged in and around Lucknow.
  Then the police team, led by one Tripathi, made their Pastor to visit them at the police station. The police accused them of indulging in conversion activities. The pastor and his team were forded to speak about their work in details. The police also extracted money from the Pastor before releasing the students from their custody.
