A Dalit youth has been allegedly beaten to death by four persons for his relationship with a high caste girl in Butrada in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh.

According to local police sources, Ravish, belonging to the scheduled caste, fell in love with a girl of high caste, for which he was allegedly beaten to death by the girl's family members.

The police have registered a case and investigations are on. No arrests have been made so far as the accused are found to be absconding.
