Pastor Kanstantino Pariccha Two Pastors have been brutally beaten up by Hindu fanatics at Jamaguda in Gajapati district of Orissa.

Pastor Kanstantino Pariccha and one of his associates were attacked when they were preparing to hold a prayer meeting in the village on 2 June 2007. They have been admitted in Chelligada Government Hospital with serious internal injuries.

Jamguda is a village where around 17 Kui tribal families live. They have decided to follow Christ. The village head was in the field when four people from Adaba came to the village to drink wine. Seeing these Pastors with their bags, they thought they were out to convert people and started to beat them up with bamboo sticks.

All India Christian Council has condemned the attack on the Pastors and is helping the Christian community in the village file a complaint against the attackers.
