Three members of a Dalit family, two of them women, were hacked to death in Ambedkar Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh on 17 March 2007.

Unidentified persons entered the house of the victims at Dhelmau village at night when they were sleeping and killed them allegedly due to a feud, police sources said.

Senior officials reached the site of incident and a manhunt had been launched to nab the culprits, they added.
